I met Maria in rather funny circumstances.

She helped my who got bitten by a mosquito in the eye to soothe the itching by pouring water in his eye. We became friends and collaborators.

Maria lives in Mitla village, near Oaxaca. Her family is proudly carrying a tradition of making fabrics in a sustainable way for many generations.

Thread by thread is laid on a traditional wooden loom.
It takes weeks to create a fabric that will adorn and cuddle your body eventually.
